Guided & Self Guided Walks

If Nordic Walking isn’t for you then why not join one of our guided walks or ask us about walks throughout the county that we would recommend either with a guide or on your own – we can provide you with maps.

Why not join a walk around Dysert O’Dea,,The Burren or Cliffs of Moher, with either our own walk leaders or another local guide who will take you along some of the hidden gems of the area giving you an insight into the culture, archeology and geology of the area.  

If you want go slightly further a field to the East or West Clare we can help you choose a suitable walk with or without a guide and provide you with maps to meet your needs.

We also have a programme of regular walks for our local community which you are welcome to join, Check our calendar for dates.

Why not book an afternoon tea at Burkedale Tea Garden for when you get back from your walk. 

Frequently Asked Questions

Views of the Burren can be seen from our base at Burkedale House. Its only 15 minutes to the start of the  trails in the National Park. We have walked many of the trails and are happy to help you to plan your walks whether self-guided or guided. Read more…

County Clare is a fabulous place to stay for those who love walking.  Our base at Burkedale House is very central  for exploring this diverse  county.   With walks in East and West Clare as well as those in  the Burren and Cliffs of Moher. We have walked many of the trails and can help you to plan your walks.
