Social Projects

Nordic Fitness Ireland is a responsible organisation that prioritises giving back to the community. In line with this commitment, the instructors are encouraged to contribute to social projects by providing at least one free walk per week, with or without poles.

Since 2022, Nordic Fitness Ireland has been actively working with the Ukrainian community, creating opportunities for individuals to engage in physical activity and build connections within the community as well as providing training opportunities for Ukranians to train as Nordic Fitness Intstructors and walk leaders.

Additionally, in Ennis, the organisation has been collaborating with Mna Ag Gaire, a Women’s Shed initiative, to support and empower women through fitness activities. These initiatives not only promote health and wellness but also foster a sense of unity and inclusivity within the community.

Nordic Fitness Ireland continues to strive towards making a positive impact and fostering a strong sense of community engagement through its social projects.

Walk Leader Training

At Nordic Fitness Ireland, we take great pride in our community support program, which includes an exceptional walk leader program catered specifically to community groups. With a deep commitment to promoting physical activity and fostering a sense of togetherness, we offer walk leader training to community groups at reduced costs.

Our training equips volunteers with the necessary skills and knowledge to lead community walks, ensuring safe and engaging experiences for participants. But our support doesn’t end there.

We continue to provide ongoing assistance and guidance to our walk leaders, ensuring they feel confident and supported in their roles. Together, we strive to create a healthier and more connected community, one step at a time.
