Poles & Prose – Film & Book Club

Welcome to Poles & Prose, the monthly Nordic Fitness Ireland walk where we engage in thought provoking discussions about the books we’ve read or the films we’ve enjoyed throughout the month.

Embark on this leisurely-paced walk, welcoming individuals of all fitness levels, as it seamlessly blends into a social gathering, fostering connections and enhancing your overall well-being.

Poles & Prose is not only a stroll towards improved fitness but also a delightful rendezvous for like-minded individuals who appreciate the joy of literature and film. Join us for a holistic experience that enriches both body and mind.

We will aim to choose books that are available in the library, bookshops, online, kindle and audio to make it accessible to everyone. If you are having difficulty sourcing a book please let us know.

Films will be chosen that are available for streaming. The film will also be shown during the month at our base at Burkedale House for those without streaming facilities.
